Lift vehicle with lifting platform.

Counterhold nuts (3) from behind and remove screws (1).

Remove cover (2) at left starter opening.



Check

Check starter ring gear for damage.

If problems exist,



Replace drive plate and starter.

Turn engine in direction of rotation and check toothing of ring gear of drive plate for damage.

Turn engine only in direction of rotation.
Engine damage can occur otherwise.



Replace drive plate.

Insert retaining lock into opening and engage in ring gear.

 If necessary, turn engine in direction of engine rotation.
