2 | Detach crankshaft gear (1) from the crankshaft | ||
3 | Remove radial shaft sealing ring (2) | Installation: Mount radial shaft sealing ring (2) with insertion tool flush in the timing case cover. Repair solution for galling at the belt pulley: hammer radial shaft sealing ring (2) in evenly 0.7 mm deeper. | |
Detach radial shaft sealing ring (2) with puller; do not damage crankshaft and mounting hole for the crankshaft radial shaft sealing ring (2) in the process. | |||
