Switching off engine
Terminal 15 at pin 47 of the EDC control unit is switched off through relay K2 (2) and the engine stopped. At the same time, the FMR control unit is switched off by relay K2 (2).
In the case of EDC , a different M module is installed as no electronic circuit in the M module and no solenoid valve are required for key-operated engine stop.
After switching off the ignition, the following specified speeds, which may have been set with the operating lever, are canceled:
-Idle speed, limit vehicle speed
EDC control unit voltage supply
The EDC control unit is supplied with its operating voltage through relay K1 (1), which is positioned on relay carrier A34.
FMR control unit voltage supply
The FMR control unit is not connected to the bus for the modules and is supplied with voltage at the 18-pin connector 1 through relay K2 (2) with terminal 15 and a separate GND cable.
