Removing, installing

Adjust rear seat all the way forward.

Remove the screws securing the seat height adjustment motor (1).

Pull up the seat until access to the screws (2) and the plug-in wiring connection (5, 6) is available.

Cut off the wire ties (7).

Separate the plug-in wiring connection (5, 6) from the seat height adjustment motor (M18m1 on left, M19m1 on right).

Mark the terminals to prevent incorrect connections later on.

Remove screws from bracket (2).

Remove bracket (3) from seat frame.

Installation: Apply a light coating of grease to the plastic tab (4) prior to installation.

Remove seat height adjustment motor (M18m1 on left, M19m1 on right).

Install by reversing the removal sequence.

Run an operational check on the rear seat.
