Installing differential side gears and differential bevel gears

Mandrel

1 Insert mandrels (046) in the bores of the differential housing.

2 Mount both differential side gears (17) with thrust washers (18) on the mandrels in the differential housing.

3 Place both differential bevel gears (15) and spherical washers (14) together and directly opposite each other in the differential housing and screw in using mandrel (046).

4 Instead of the differential pin, push the mandrel (021) into the differential housing to fix the differential bevel gears and spherical washers in position.
