Danger! | Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. | |
1 | Raise vehicle. | ||
2 | Remove bolts (1) | ||
3 | Extract the clutch motor (M18), continuing until the plug (2) is accessible | ||
4 | Disconnect the plug (2) and remove the clutch motor (M18) | ||
| Install | ||
5 | Mount plug (2) | Ensure the plug (2) is securely attached. | |
6 | Install the clutch motor (M18) | ||
7 | Tighten bolts (1) up to contact surface | Do not tighten down the bolts (1). | |
8 | Slide the clutch motor (M18) forward until the push rod (3) is against the release lever (4) | Bring the push rod (3) into light contact, do not tension it. | |
9 | Starting at this position, slide the clutch motor (M18) two graduations (5) inwards | The reference point is the washer (6). | |
10 | Tighten screws (1) | | |
11 | Teach in the drag point of the clutch and the clutch motor (M18) | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | ||
