1 | Unscrew cap of expansion reservoir (1). | Drain old brake fluid. | |
The level of the brake fluid should still extend to above that of the supply opening. | |||
2 | Connect bleeder unit | Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions. | |

3 | Remove the protective cap (2) and attach the bleed hose (3) to the bleed valve (4) | ||
4 | Open bleeder valve (4) | Allow brake fluid to flow until it exits free of bubbles at the bleed hose (3). | |
Open the bleed valve (4) by at least 45°. | |||

5 | Close the bleed valve (4) | Remove bleed hose (3) and put on protective cap (2) | |
6 | Disconnect bleeder unit | Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions. | |
Take care that the bleeder unit is not under pressure, if so then lower pressure in bleeder unit. | |||
7 | Correct fluid level in expansion reservoir (1) | ||
8 | Screw on expansion reservoir cap (1). | ||
9 | Check proper function of clutch operator | If the clutch-release mechanism fails to provide satisfactory performance, repeat the bleeding operation. | |
10 | Check tightness of breather valve (4) |
