Please remember that the work procedure described in the document AR67.39-S-1000E must strictly be observed while removing or installing the electric pop-out window (1) on the left or right.
For repair-related reasons, if only the arrester (2) needs to be unfastened without removing the electric pop-out window (1), then the electric pop-out window (1) may be opened up to a maximum of 40 mm (a) and must be secured against falling. Otherwise damage could occur on the hinges in the area of the C-pillar of the electric pop-out window (1).
The tightening torque must be observed for screw/bolt (3).
Adhesive foils on the electric pop-out window (1) on the left or right may only be applied when the electric pop-out window (1) is completely mounted (if possible) or when the electric pop-out window (1) is completely removed. If the hinges are damaged (e.g. due to over-expansion because the maximum opening of 40 mm (a) is exceeded), then the electric pop-out window (1) must be replaced.
