It is important to note that only the affected module has to be replaced in the case of complaints concerning the fuel pump or fuel filter. The modules only need to be replaced in pairs if both modules are diagnosed as being faulty. This procedure also applies in the case of complaints concerning the fuel level sensor.
On model 221, the fuel level sensors can be replaced separately. Once again, only the problem component needs to be replaced.
When the removed components are returned, the respective test steps must be printed out and sent with the components.
