GF32.33-W-2003A | Axle load measuring device, function | 13.2.97 |
MODELS 950.03 /04 /05 /20 /21 /22 /24 /53 /54 /60 /61 /62, 952.24, 954.03 /04 /05 /06 /22 /23 /24 /53, 957 with code (AH8) Axle load measuring device
The axle load measuring device uses pressure sensors in the air bellows of vehicles equipped with full air suspension to measure the current axle load at the front and rear axles.
The driver can use the axle load measuring device to display the individual load at each axle as well as the total vehicle weight on the instrument cluster.
If the vehicle is a 3-axle vehicle with leading or trailing axle, the axle load measuring device uses signals from the pressure sensors installed as standard on the left and right of the driven axle. An additional pressure sensor is installed with the axle load measuring device for measuring the front axle load.
The load at the leading or trailing axle is not measured. The axle load for the additional axles is calculated using the values obtained from the measured axles.
