Fold over padding (1) of bed extension (2), as shown

Expose wires of locks (4) at bed extension (2)

Mark installation position of locks (4) at bed extension (2)

Remove screws/bolts (5) and remove locks (4) together with release handle (3) from bed extension (2)



Install

Position locks (4) on bed extension (2) and screw tight with screws/bolts (5)

 Observe markings.

Install bed extension (2) without cover

Check

Check engagement and release of locks (4)

 Locks (4) must easily and correctly engage and release at the respective lock striker of the vehicle.

If the locks (4) cannot be easily and correctly engaged and released.



Loosen respective screws/bolts (5) and correct position of lock (4)



Secure wires of locks (4) with cable ties at bed extension (2)

Fold over padding (1) of bed extension (2)

Install cover for bed extension (2)
