Remove/install

Remove bed extension

Unscrew screws/bolts (3) and remove connecting strut (4)

 Installation: Replace bolts (3).

Remove mounting consoles (2)

Unscrew screws/bolts (5) and remove covers (7)

 Installation: Replace bolts (5).

Operate release handle (8), as shown, and unscrew screws/bolts (9)

 Installation: Replace bolts (9).
Pay attention to correct location of cover reinforcement in vicinity of release handle (8).

Remove hinges (11)

 Installation: Replace screw/bolts.

Open zipper (12)

 Installation: Push slider of zipper (12) beneath the cover (1).

Fold cover (1) over the latches (6) and the release (10) and remove from the bed extension

 Installation: Align the cover (1) at the contour of the bed extension. The cover seam at the underside of the cover (1) must be flush with the lower edge of the bed extension.

Open zipper (13)

 Installation: Push slider of zipper (13) beneath the cover (1).

Remove cover (1) from padding (14)

 Pay attention to installation position of padding (14).

 Installation: Align cover (1) at contour of padding (14).

Install in the reverse order
