2 | Remove paneling on B-pillar | ||
3 | Remove belt guide (2) from B-pillar and slip out of seat belt | ||
4 | Remove nut (4) and remove seat belt guide bracket (3) | | |
5 | Remove screw (5) of automatic belt retractor (1) | | |
6 | Disconnect electrical connector from driver ETR [GUS] squib (R12/1) and from driver belt force limiter (R12/27) or front passenger ETR [GUS] squib (R12/2) and from front passenger belt force limiter (R12/26) | ||
7 | Remove automatic belt retractor (1) and lead out seat belt through the body | If the automatic belt retractor (1) is replaced, the faulty automatic belt retractor (1) must be disposed of properly. Refer to: | |

8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Check supplemental restraint system (SRS) with the aid of STAR DIAGNOSIS | ||
