Unhook tensioning strap (2)

Disconnect seat heating electrical connector (5) from left front seat control unit (N32/1) or right front seat control unit (N32/2)

Disconnect seat occupancy and child seat recognition electrical connector (4) from right front seat control unit (N32/2)

Only on passenger seat.

Disconnect seat heating electrical connector (6) from left front seat control unit (N32/1) or right front seat control unit (N32/2)

On vehicles with code (401) Front deluxe seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation

Remove screws (3)

Bolt, control unit to front seat's seat frame

Fold out left front seat control unit (N32/1) or right front seat control unit (N32/2) and open cover (7)

Installation:
Ensure that electric lines are routed correctly.
This prevents damage.

Disconnect electrical connectors (8) from left front seat control unit (N32/1) or right front seat control unit (N32/2)

Remove left front seat control unit (N32/1) or right front seat control unit (N32/2)

10

Install in the reverse order
