Remove/install

Remove left or right front seat and set down on suitable base

Unclip electrical wiring harness (2) of driver seat fore/aft adjustment motor (M271) or front passenger seat fore/aft adjustment motor (M281)

Remove screw/bolt (5) from left guide rail (3)

 If necessary, touch-up paint damage on drive shaft protection (1).

 Bolt/nut, drive shaft protection to seat frame

Remove screw/bolt (6) from right guide rail (4)

 If necessary, touch-up paint damage on drive shaft protection (1).

 Bolt/nut, drive shaft protection to seat frame

Remove drive shaft protection (1)

Install in the reverse order
