Remove/install

Remove suspension module.

 Do not remove lower part of seat frame base.

Remove cotter pin (1).

 To do so, push boot (2) to one side.

Remove handwheel (3).

 Detach handwheel (3) forward.

 Installation: The catches (4) must engage in the cutouts (5) of the trim (6). The cutout (7) must point upwards.

Remove trim (6).

 To do so, detach trim (6) forward.

Remove release lever trim (8).

 To do so, pull off release lever trim (8).

Remove nipple (9) from suspension module.

 Installation: To do so, lubricate nipple (9) using a suitable lubricant.

 Installation: Check nipple (9).

MB multipurpose grease, 400 g

If a nipple (9) is damaged.



Replace boot (2).

Remove boot (2).

 To do so, release catch hooks (10) and pass boot (2) by the suspension module starting on the left side.

 For this purpose use suitable tool.

Install in the reverse order.
