Remove

Position plastic wedge (4) in area of bracket (3), on trim piece (1), press in direction of arrow and unclip trim piece (1) starting from front (arrow A)


Do not lift or turn plastic wedge (4).
Otherwise the trim piece (1), bracket (3) or paint can be damaged.



Check

Check brackets (3) for damage and tight seat

If necessary



Replace brackets (3).

Spray seal on trim piece (1) with soapy water

Position trim piece (1) on rear passenger compartment side window (2) and carefully press into bracket (3)

 Ensure that seal on trim piece (1) is seated correctly.



Check

Check whether trim piece (1) is seated correctly in brackets (3)
