Remove engine hood

Remove gas-filled strut (1) from corresponding engine hood hinge (5)

Mark installation position of engine hood hinge (5)

Remove engine hood hinge (5)

For this purpose unscrew bolt (3), loosen bolt (4), pivot engine hood hinge (5) toward inside (arrow) and completely unscrew bolt (4).

Install

Remove engine hood hinge (5)

Observe installation position.

Install gas-filled strut (1) at corresponding engine hood hinge (5)

Install engine hood

Adjust engine hood

Repair paint damage on screw heads (3, 4) with touchup paint pen

11

Install paneling (2)

Remove/install hood hinge
