Adjust stop buffer (4)

 Adjust height of stop buffer (4) so that top edges of fender and engine hood (1) are flush.

Check

Close engine hood (1) and pull upward with a slight jerk

 For checking engine hook lock for proper function.

If the engine hood (1) can be opened.



Adjust engine hood lock

Unlock engine hood (1) and check whether retaining hook arrest properly
