Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove protective strip (4)

Remove expansion rivets (2)

Unscrew nut (3)

Remove lower front fender (1)


Carefully remove lower front fender (1).
Paint of adjacent component parts may otherwise be damaged.

 For this purpose, remove screws (5).



Install

Position lower front fender (1) on vehicle


Carefully position lower front fender (1).
Paint of adjacent component parts may otherwise be damaged.

Slightly screw in screws (5) by hand and slightly screw on nut (3) by hand

Align lower front fender (1)

Gap dimensions of fender

Tighten screws (5) and nut (3)

If paint damage is present at screws (5) and/or nut (3).



Touch up paint damage with suitable touch-up paint pen.

Install expansion rivet (2)

 Check expansion rivet (2) for damage.

Depending on findings



Replace damaged expansion rivet (2).

Add cavity preserving agent

When replacing lower front fender (1).
