Seal off all lines and connections with suitable plugs

Installation: Refill air conditioning system and check for proper operation and check for leaks.

Remove poly-V-belt

Detach refrigerant line (6) from refrigerant line (2)


Installation: Replace sealing ring (4) and coat threaded stud and sealing ring (4) with compressor oil

Remove bolt (5) at refrigerant line (6)

Remove refrigerant line (2) from refrigerant compressor (7)

Installation: Replace sealing rings (1) and moisten with compressor oil

Unplug connector (Y38.1)

Remove bolts (5), remove refrigerant compressor (7)

Observe oil refill quantity when replacing refrigerant compressor (7)

If refrigerant compressor is replaced because of internal damage

Replace refrigerant lines and

Turn on air conditioning and idle engine for about 4 minutes
