Danger!

Risk of explosion through welding or soldering operations on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning through inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury through skin and eye contact with fluid coolant

Do not carry out welding operations on closed air conditioning system or around it. Smoking and naked flame are forbidden. Wear protective glasses and protective gloves, work only in well ventilated areas. Only carry out repair operations on air conditioning circuit with system drained.

When working on refrigerant circuit, close off all openings with suitable covers to prevent unnecessary ingress of moisture and dirt.

All sealing rings must be replaced and moistened with compressor oil.

Remove screw (10)

Only with engines 111, 601, 611.980

Counter-hold nut (11).

Remove nut (8), detach refrigerant lines (9) from expansion valve (4)

Installation: Replace sealing rings (5, 6) and moisten with compressor oil.

Remove screws (7) and detach expansion valve (4)

Installation:Replace sealing rings (3, 13) and moisten with compressor oil.

Ensure that supporting plate (2) does not fall into heater housing.

Replace fluid reservoir

Fluid reservoir is to be replaced whenever air conditioning is worked on.
