Discharge air conditioning system

Installation: Evacuate air conditioning and then fill.

Release rear drive module

Installation: Evacuate air conditioning before positioning the rear drive module and fill.

Detach AC lines (1) from refrigerant compressor (A9) and remove sealing rings from AC lines (1)

Close openings on refrigerant compressor (A9) and AC lines (1) to prevent moisture and dirt from entering.

Installation: Replace sealing rings.

Detach plugs (arrows) from refrigerant temperature switch (S24)

Remove poly-V belt

Undo bolt (2), major assembly carrier to refrigerant compressor (A9)

Unscrew bolt (3), bracket from refrigerant compressor (A9)

Remove refrigerant compressor (A9)

Install in the reverse order

Protect air conditioning circuit and components from moisture when carrying out repair work

Replace filter drier

Replace the fluid reservoir every time you open up the refrigeration circuit. When a receiver/dryer is left open, the dryer unit quickly becomes saturated with moisture, rendering it useless.
