1 | Discharge air conditioning system | Installation: Evacuate air conditioning and then fill. | |
2 | Release rear drive module | Installation: Evacuate air conditioning before positioning the rear drive module and fill. | |
3 | Detach AC lines (1) from refrigerant compressor (A9) and remove sealing rings from AC lines (1) | Seal openings on refrigerant compressor (A9) and AC lines (1) to ensure that moisture and dirt cannot penetrate them. | |
Installation: Replace sealing rings. | |||
4 | Detach connectors (arrows) on refrigerant temperature switch (S24) | ||
5 | Remove poly-V-belt for supercharger | ||
6 | Undo bolt (2), major assembly carrier to refrigerant compressor (A9) | | |
7 | Unscrew bolt (3), bracket from refrigerant compressor (A9) | | |
8 | Unscrew bolt (2), major assembly carrier from refrigerant compressor (A9) | | |
9 | Remove refrigerant compressor (A9) | ||
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| Protect air conditioning circuit and components from moisture when carrying out repair work | ||
11 | Replace filter drier | Replace the fluid reservoir every time you open up the refrigeration circuit. When a receiver/dryer is left open, the dryer unit quickly becomes saturated with moisture, rendering it useless. |
