Remove/install refrigerant lines at refrigerant compressor

Remove/install

 Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Detach refrigerant lines, bottom (1)

 Cutting tool set

Unscrew bolt (2) and remove bracket (3)

Unscrew bolt (4), refrigerant intake line (5) to refrigerant compressor (A9)



Detach refrigerant suction line (5) and remove sealing ring

 Installation: Coat sealing ring with compressor fluid.

Unscrew bolt (6), refrigerant pressure line (7) on refrigerant compressor (A9)



Detach refrigerant pressure line (7) and remove sealing ring

 Installation: Coat sealing ring with compressor fluid.



Replace filter drier

 Replace the fluid reservoir every time you open up the refrigeration circuit. When a receiver/dryer is left open, the dryer unit quickly becomes saturated with moisture, rendering it useless.
