Remove/install

Discharge air conditioning system.

Remove radiator grille.

Remove cover (1).

Unscrew nut, remove refrigerant line (2) and seal exposed connections with suitable stop plugs.

Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Installation: Replace sealing rings and moisten with compressor oil.

Release and disconnect electrical connection (3).

Remove refrigerant pressure sensor (B12) and seal exposed connections with suitable stop plugs.

Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths

Install in the reverse order



 Warning

Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.

Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.
