Remove and install connections from and to front of heater housing

Screw/bolt, refrigerant line connector block on evaporator

Loosen hose clamps (1) and detach coolant hoses (2) from heater housing.

 Collect escaping coolant using suitable vessel.

 Seal openings at heater housing and coolant hoses (2) using suitable  stop plugs.

Unscrew screws (3) and remove connector from refrigerant lines (4).

 Seal openings at heater housing and refrigerant line connector (4) using suitable  stop plugs.

Install refrigerant line (4) connector and check for proper seat.

 Use new O-rings and moisten with compressor oil before installation.

Tighten screws/bolts (3) evenly by turns  .

Attach coolant hoses (2) and tighten hose clamps (1).

 Inspect hose clamps (1), replace if necessary.
The threaded connections of the hose clamps (1) must be on the right in the direction of travel.
