Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove head unit.

Remove top center trim on instrument panel.

Remove radio.

Remove screws (2) and take off device installation frame (3).

Remove screws/bolts (4).

Remove actuator motor (1) until the electrical connector (5) is accessible.

Disconnect electrical connector (5) and remove actuator motor (1).

Installation: Ensure that the truncation (arrow A) of the driver (6) is aligned with the truncation (arrow B) of the actuator motor (1).

Install in the reverse order.

9

Teach in and normalize actuator motor (1) and erase fault memory using vehicle diagnosis system.

Carry out function test of actuator motor (1).
