Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit

 On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, press the Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off.

Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter
(min. 2 m).

Release electrical connectors and fiber optic cable connector from TV tuner (A2/42), disconnect, and cover fiber optic cable connector and implement connection on fiber optic cable

 To avoid damaging the fiber optic cable, do not kink fiber optic cables, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm.

Remove sheet metal screw (2)

Unscrew nuts (1).

Remove bracket (3) with TV tuner (A2/42) upwards

Unscrew nut (4)

Only when replacing TV tuner (A2/42).

Simultaneously press in catch hooks (arrow) on left and right side of bracket (3) and remove TV tuner (A2/42) from
bracket (3)

Only when replacing TV tuner (A2/42).

 Installation: Catch hooks (arrow) must latch again.

Install in the reverse order
