Remove/install

Carry out commissioning of sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).

When replacing sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).



Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove right trim in load compartment at side.

Remove spare wheel well trim.

Remove nut (2).

Remove nut (3).

Remove reinforcement (1) upward.

 Installation: Ensure correct seating of the retaining clip (4) in the opening (9).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (5).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (6).

Remove nuts (7).

Remove sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).

 Installation: Ensure correct seating of the sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) in the retaining bracket (arrows) of bracket (8).

Install in the reverse order.
