Remove/install

1.1

Remove stowage tray on instrument panel.

Model 907, 910 except code FJ1 (Folding cover for stowage compartment) except code FJ5 (Folding covers for left and right stowage compartments)

Remove side stowage tray in instrument panel on driver's side.

Remove side lockable stowage compartment in instrument panel on driver's side.

Remove front side air vent on driver's side.

Remove instrument cluster.

Remove clip (2).

Remove screw (3), detach air duct (4) and push downwards.

 This creates the necessary access to the antenna (1).

Twist antenna (1) until electrical connector (5) is at right angles to carrier (6), as illustrated.


Do not twist the antenna (1) by the electrical connector (5).
Otherwise the antenna (1) could be damaged.

Remove antenna (1) from carrier and lower into driver footwell with electrical connector (5) connected.

Separate electrical connector (5) and remove antenna (1).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check that the antenna (1) is ready to transmit and receive via the multimedia system.
