Remove/install

1.1

Remove center cover of stowage tray on instrument panel.

except code FJ1 (Hinged lid for stowage compartment)

Open top center stowage compartment on the instrument panel.

with code FJ1 (Hinged lid for stowage compartment)

Remove multimedia connection unit (2) and bring out of working area with connected electric lines.

If installed.

Remove cover.

If the multimedia connection unit (2) is not installed.

 Clip remover

Unlock and release USB port (1) on one side at catch hook (3) through the opening (arrow A).

Unclip USB port (1) completely and remove until the electrical connector (4) is accessible.

Disconnect electrical connector (4) and remove USB port (1).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Carry out function test for USB port (1).
