Remove

 Danger!

Risk of injury in the form of trapping or crushing, or even severing of limbs, if caught in windshield wiper mechanism

Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.

Withdraw ignition key

Remove wiper system

Unscrew nut (1) from wiper motor shaft

Press crank arm (3) off of wiper motor shaft

Unscrew screws (2) on wiper motor (M6/1)

Remove wiper motor (M6/1)



Install

Move wiper motor (M6/1) to parking position

Install wiper motor

Screw in screws (2) for wiper motor (M6/1)



Align crank arm (3) and press on to wiper motor shaft

Pay attention to setting:

Crank arm (3) must be parallel to and covered by wiper linkage (4)

Screw nut (1) onto wiper motor shaft


