Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Release trunk lining until nuts (1) are accessible.

Remove nuts (1).

Remove left rear lamp unit (E3) or right rear lamp unit (E4) until the electrical connector is accessible.


Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.

Release and disconnect the electrical connector.

 Installation:
Position left rear lamp unit (E3) or right rear lamp unit (E4) carefully.
Otherwise the surrounding parts will be damaged.

 Installation: Make sure that the grommet (3) is seated correctly.

Install in the reverse order.
