Remove/install mount for catch on crossmember above windshield

	Removing
1	Remove upper windshield paneling (4)	 Do not disconnect electrical connectors from overhead control panel control unit. Lay paneling on upper windshield (4) down to side together with overhead control panel control unit.	AR68.30-P-4250R
2	Separate electrical connector (5)	Only when removing right mount (1).
3	Mark installation position of mount (1)
4	Unscrew nuts (2) and remove mount (1) together with spacers (3).	 Observe installation location of spacers (3). A number of spacers (3) may be present at the attachment points of the mount (1).
5	Unclip Vario roof "closed" limit switch (left pin) (S69/1) from right mount (1) and remove	Only when replacing right mount (1).
	Install
6	Install Vario roof "closed" limit switch (left pin) (S69/1) to right mount (1).	Only when replacing right mount (1).
7	Clean guide (arrow) on mount (1) with rag and then lubricate	Lubricant paste	*BR00.45-Z-1004-06A
8	Install mount (1) together with spacers (3) on crossmember above windshield	 Spacer openings (3) should point toward rear, otherwise mount (1) can move when the Vario roof is locked.
		 Observe installation location for spacers (3) and installation markings for mount (1).

9	Connect electrical connector (5) to Vario roof "closed" limit switch (right pin) (S69/1)	Only when installing right mount (1).
10	Clean pilot stud (6) on front lock (7) with rag and then lubricate pilot stud (6) over entire length	Lubricant paste	*BR00.45-Z-1004-06A
11	Adjust gap between Vario roof and cross member above windshield		AR77.50-P-3035R
12	Install paneling on upper windshield (4)		AR68.30-P-4250R
