Insert the soft top completely

Release the soft top roof cassette

Pressing the soft top switch for longer than 2 s causes the soft top on the catch hooks of the four-pivot device to unlock.

Fold down the soft top roof cassette

Remove inside rearview mirror

Unscrew the screws (1), side support bearing (2) from the A-pillar

Remove the side support bearing (2) from the A-pillar

To remove the side support bearing (2) from the A-pillar, rotate it 90° counterclockwise.

Install

Insert the side support bearing (2) into the A-pillar

Tighten the screws (1), side support bearing (2) on the A-pillar

Lift the roof cassette by hand and engage it on the catch hook of the B-pillar

Correct engagement is only ensured if the ignition has been switched on. Activate strut detection by hand during engagement on both sides.
The soft top automatically moves around 30 mm forward after the roof cassette has engaged.

Press the roof cassette down by hand into the catch hook of the four-pivot device and engage it

Lock the soft top

To unlock the soft top, press the soft top switch in the closing direction while the ignition is switched on.
