Remove operating cable (5) on Vario roof rear shelf

 Remove operating cable (5) only from operating cable drive (6)

Move Vario roof with Vario roof switch to intermediate position and secure

Unscrew bolts (3) and remove insulating washers (4)

 Mark installation position of bolts (3) before removal and observe installation location of intermediate layers (7).

Remove rear shelf main flap (1) with compensating strips (2) and operating cable (5) from vehicle



Install

Position rear shelf main flap (1) together with intermediate layers (7) on
mounts (8). Tighten bolts (3) together with insulating washers (4).

 Do not replace insulating washers (4) with other plates, otherwise interference suppression is not ensured.

 Replace damaged insulating washers (4). Observe installation position of bolts (3) and intermediate layers (7).



Remove support for securing intermediate position of Vario roof and close Vario roof with Vario roof switch.



Install operating cable (5) on operating cable drive (6)

Check adjustment of rear shelf main flap (1), correct if necessary

Check adjustment of side flap, correct if necessary.
