1 | Remove panoramic sliding roof | ||
2 | Remove wind deflector for panoramic sliding roof | ||
3 | Switch on ignition and move panoramic sliding roof mechanism with panoramic sliding roof switch to tilt position | ||
4 | Switch off ignition | ||
5 | Remove panoramic sliding roof drive unit | ||
6 | Unscrew bolts (2, 3, 4) from left and right guide rail (1) | ||
7 | Remove front guide (5) from guide rail (1) | ||
8 | Lift guide rail (1) at front and remove together with installed cable (6) from guide tubes (7) | ||
| Disassemble/assemble | ||
9 | Disassemble guide rail (1) | When replacing guide rail (1). | |
10 | Assemble in the reverse order | ||
| Install | ||
11 | Position front guide (5) on guide rail (1) | ||
12 | Push cable (6) into upper guide tube (7), push toward rear together with guide rail (1) and insert roller sun blind sliding shoe (11) into guide rail (1) | ||
13 | Connect roller sun blind driver (8) to roller sun blind sliding shoe (11) | Ensure that the guide lug of the roller sun blind driver (8) is positioned in the seam (9.1) of the roller sun blind (9) as shown. The guide lug of the roller sun blind driver (8) must be positioned in the upper groove (arrow A) of the guide rail (1). | |
14 | Push guide rail (1) up to end stop of both guide tubes (7) | Ensure that the pin (10) of the rear set-up bracket is positioned above the guide rail (1) (arrow B) as shown. | |
15 | Lightly tighten bolts (2) by hand | ||
16 | Lightly tighten bolts (3) by hand | ||
17 | Adjust panoramic sliding roof mechanism by hand so that the bolt (4) can be screwed in | ||
18 | Tighten bolts (4) | ||
19 | Tighten bolts (2, 3) | ||
20 | Install panoramic sliding roof drive unit | ||
21 | Install wind deflector for panoramic sliding roof | ||
22 | Switch on ignition and move panoramic sliding roof mechanism with panoramic sliding roof switch to tilt position | ||
23 | Switch off ignition | ||
24 | Install Panoramic sliding sunroof | ||

25 | Perform function test of panoramic sliding sunroof and roller sun blind |
