Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove center liftgate trim.

Disconnect electrical connectors (2).

 The number of electrical connectors (2) may vary depending on the equipment variant.

Release and disconnect electrical connection (3).

Disconnect electrical connection (4).

Press water drain hose (5) inward into the liftgate.

 Installation: Ensure that water drain hose (5) is seated correctly in liftgate.

Remove screws (6).

Turn release handle (1) in the direction of the arrow and remove toward the inside.

Remove water drain hose (5) from release handle (1).

When replacing release handle (1).

Remove reversing camera (7) from the release handle (1).
