Remove/Install

Remove antenna rod

Unscrew bolts (3) from fender at top

Unscrew bolts (4) for fender from A-pillar

Open door

Unscrew bolts (5) at bottom of door entry

Remove expansion rivet (6) from bottom wheelhouse paneling

 Turn wheels

Unhook fender from assembly stop

 Do not damage lock tabs on assembly stop, otherwise the CBS front can no longer be guided

Slightly pull rear fender upward and toward outside.

Remove complete rearview mirror

On vehicles with code (V21) Electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (FFO).

Remove exterior door handle on front door

Unscrew bolt (2)

Remove retractable window seal on door paneling (1) upward

Open window.

Slightly press in door paneling (1) from outside and slide upward (arrows).

 The door paneling (1) then comes out of the retaining rail at top

 Installation: Press against bottom edge of door paneling (1) from bottom until door paneling (1) arrests at top.

Loosen door paneling (1) from side arrest

Remove door paneling (1) downward.

 Installation: First hook door paneling (1) in at front bottom.

Install in the reverse order

Check gaps on hoods, doors and covers, adjust if necessary
