Detach door foil (4) in front area of sliding door as shown

 Installation: Ensure that door foil (4) is seated correctly.

Disconnect electrical connection (5)

Loosen electrical controller unit from sliding door

 It is necessary to loosen the electrical controller unit to create the required space to perform the follow-up work.

 Do not disconnect electrical connectors.
Do not unhook cables.

Remove screw/bolts (1)

Move door lock actuation (2) out of sliding door in direction of arrow and remove until cable (3) is accessible


Carefully remove door lock actuation (2).
Otherwise the trim ring (13) on the release button (6) can be damaged.

Unhook cable (3)

Move lock ring (7) in direction of arrow (arrow A)

Open catch by pressing the catch hook (12) together in the lower area (arrows B) and remove cable (8) together with release button (6) from trim ring (13) in direction of arrow (arrow C)

 Installation: Ensure that catch hook (12) arrests into the trim ring (13) in the intended cutouts on both sides.

Drill Ø 4.2 mm hole for pin (11) on door lock actuation (2)

Drill carefully.
Otherwise components of the door lock actuation (2) can be damaged.

 Dimension (A): 35 mm
Dimension (B): 155 mm
Dimensions (A, B) measured at an angle of 90° from outer edges of door lock actuation (2).

Install pins (11) with blind rivets on door lock actuation (2)

Install in the reverse order



Check door lock actuation (2) for proper function
