11

Remove stop buffers (7) until stop buffers (7) make slight contact with the sliding door (1) when the sliding door (1) is closed.

Contact of stop buffers (7) can be checked e.g. with a thin strip of paper. It must be possible to pull strip of paper out from between sliding door (1) and stop buffers (7) without tearing it.

12

To achieve the required preload of the sliding door (1) in this area, remove the stop buffers (7) by another approx. 1.5 mm.

Do not adjust the preload of the stop buffers (7) such that it is too low.
Otherwise this will cause clattering noise while driving.

Do not adjust the preload of the stop buffers (7) such that it is too high.
Otherwise, control forces on inside and outside door handles will increase.
