Risk of injury caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.

When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Remove door lining from left or right front door

Remove outside mirror

Press trim strip (2) out of retaining clips (3) and retaining clip (4) with mounting wedge

 Carefully press trim strip (2) out of retaining clips (3) and retaining clip (4), otherwise the paint on the front door can be damaged



 Installation: Ensure that the trim strip (2) is seated correctly in the retaining clips (3) and retaining clip (4)

Remove speaker in front door

Pull door sealing frame (1) out of front door bead from rear toward front

 Installation: Moisten door sealing frame (1) on contact surfaces to front door with lubricant
Ensure that door sealing frame (1) is seated correctly in bead on front door

Unclip expanding clips (5) on inside of door sealing frames (1)

 The expanding clips (5) remain on the sealing frame (1).

Unclip expanding clip (6) on outside of door sealing frame (1)

 The expanding clip (6) remains on the door sealing frame (1).

Pull door sealing frame (1) over outside mirror mounts, loosen from guide rail (7) and remove

 Installation: Moisten door sealing frame (1) on contact surfaces to front and to guide rail (7) with lubricant
The window on the door sealing frame (1) can be positioned in the guide rail (7) through the installation opening for the speaker.
