Remove

Remove front door lining

Detach inner sealing rail (3)


Carefully lift inner sealing rail (3) out of bead on inner door panel.
otherwise the inner sealing rail (3) can bend and must be replaced.

Remove rubber grommets (4)

Connect switch for power window and run up crank window (1) until bolts (5, 6) are accessible through assembly openings

 Disconnect power window switch again.

Unscrew bolt (6), loosen bolt (5)

Remove crank window (1) upward from window channel in front door



Install

Insert crank window (1) into window channel from top

 Slide crank window (1) down until it makes contact in mounts. Then slide crank window (1) to stop into rear window guide seal (7) (arrows).

Manually position bolt (5) and bolt (6)

 Tighten bolt (5) and bolt (6) only after adjusting crank window (1) with required torque.

Connect switch for power window and move crank window (1) down

 Disconnect power window switch again.

Install inner sealing rail (3)

 Moisten obstruction sensor strop for inner sealing rail (3) with lubricant.

Tighten bolt (5) and bolt (6)

 Bolt, glass pane to power window

install rubber grommets (4) in assembly openings

Install door lining in front door

Check

Check for proper function and synchronize power window

 Actuate button to close side window and hold for approx. 5 s. Then check whether side window opens or closes correctly.
