Removal, installation

Danger!

Injury hazard from unsecured windows pinching hands

Secure windows against falling down.

Remove door liner

Remove inner sealing rail

Remove outer sealing rail

Remove speakers (H4/1, H4/2)

Pull door foil off of inner door panel

Installation: Replace damaged door foil.

Lower crank window (1) until mounting screws (2, 3) are accessible through assembly openings in innner door panel

Installation: Check adjustment of crank window, if necessary:

Disconnect connector (4) for power window motor

Unscrew mounting screw (3)

The slider (5) is fastened to the window and cannot be removed.

Loosen mounting screw (2) only until crank window can be lifted out of slider

Remove window (1) upward while guiding slider (5) through opening in door shaft

Do not scratch window.

Put window (1) down on secure surface

Install in the reverse order

Clean window
