| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove plug (1) from front door | ||
2 | Turn the screw (2) counterclockwise five times. | The screw (2) remains in bearing bracket. | |
3.1 | Remove the cover (4) with the lock cylinder (5) through the driver's door | When removing the door handle (3) from driver's door. | |
3.2 | Pull the door handle (3) approx. 5 mm and pull the cover (4) out of the front passenger door | When removing the door handle (3) from front passenger door. | |
4 | Pull the door handle (3) completely in the direction of the arrow (arrow A) | ||
5 | Pull door handle (3) in the direction of the arrow (arrow B) toward rear out of bearing bracket and remove in the direction of the arrow (arrow C) from front door | ||

6 | Check condition of seal (6) | If the seal (6) has been damaged or is not seated correctly at the front door. | |

Replace the seal (6) and position it correctly at the front door. | |||
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| Check | ||
8 | Perform function test of door handle (3) on front door |
