Remove paneling from front Vario roof

Close roller sun blind (1) completely

 Roller sun blind (1) must be closed completely, otherwise roller sun blind (1) frame can distort when removing.

Do not touch guide rails (2) of roller sun blind (1) with fingers or bring into contact with lubricant, otherwise the braking effect of the roller sun blind (1) catch can be decreased

Remove bolts (3, 4)

 Mark position of left and right guide rail (2).
Aid of helper required to hold roller sun blind (1).

 Installation: When replacing roller sun blind (1), remove assembly strut on new part only after replacement, otherwise the frame of the roller sun blind (1) can distort.

 Installation: Observe spacer washers on bolts (3).



Remove roller sun blind (1) from vehicle

 Handle roller sun blind (1) carefully, otherwise the roller sun blind (1) frame can distort.

 Aid of helper required.

Install in the reverse order
