Risk of injury caused by body parts being trapped or crushed when working on partially open Vario roof (stop mode) or in its closing area as a result of the Vario roof suddenly collapsing

Secure Vario roof with a suitable special tool.

Close Vario roof

Open sun shade

On vehicles with code (415) Glass roof

The sun roller blind must be wound up to prevent damage.

Move Vario roof into intermediate position and secure

Remove bolts (2)

Unclip headliner (1) and remove toward front

Installation: Replace damaged clips (3). Ensure that left and right gaskets (4) are seated properly (arrows).

Install in the reverse order
