Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)

Remove both sun visors

Unscrew bolts (2)

Unclip both frames (3)

Unclip paneling (4) toward rear

Unclip cover from inside rearview mirror

Expose electrical wiring harness (5) in area of inside rearview mirror and release electrical connectors and disconnect

The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.

So that the electrical wiring harness (5) can be guided through the opening in the front headliner (1) when removing.

Unclip front headliner (1) as shown on arrows and remove toward rear until electrical connectors are accessible

Release electrical connectors on front headliner (1) and disconnect

Remove front headliner (1) toward rear

Install in the reverse order

Remove/install front headliner
