Remove/install

Remove front roof lining.

Remove covers (2) of the clothes hooks (4) upward.

Remove screws (3) and remove clothes hooks (4) from the B-pillar trims (1.1, 1.2).

Remove grab bar from the B-pillar.

Unclip B-pillar trims (1.1, 1.2) in top area.

 Installation: Ensure that the assembly of the seat belt height adjustments is correct.

Remove corresponding dome lamps.

Remove front section of the air duct of the roof-mounted air conditioning system.

Remove emergency hammer (11).

with code D16 (Emergency hatch in roof)

Pull emergency hammer illumination (10) out of the center roof lining (1) until the electrical connector is accessible.

Release and disconnect electrical connector and remove emergency hammer illumination (10).

Remove expansion rivets (5) of the center roof lining (1) in the front area.

Remove top expansion rivet (8) from the C-pillar on the side of the sliding door.

Detach sealing frame in sliding door portal in the area of the center roof lining (1).

Unclip retaining clips (7) in the rear area of the center roof lining (1) and check for damage.

If the retaining clips (7) are damaged,



replace damaged retaining clips (7).

Unclip retaining clips (6) in the center area of the center roof lining (1) and check for damage.

 Helper required.

If the retaining clips (6) are damaged,

replace damaged retaining clips (6).

Guide electrical wiring harnesses of the dome lamps out of the center roof lining (1).

 Helper required.

Pull center roof lining (1) out of the B-pillar trims (1.1, 1.2) and the shackle (9) on the opposite side of the sliding door, lower carefully, and remove from the vehicle.

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Perform function test of the dome lamps.
